Reviews and Ratings
The Half Moon Inn is a cozy spot right in the center of a beautiful town, making it super convenient for exploring. The rooms feature super-king beds and are generally clean, although there are a few maintenance issues that need attention. I absolutely enjoyed the dining experience with a wide range of delicious food at great prices. However, noise from nearby events can be disruptive, especially at night.
We had a lovely time at this hotel. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The breakfast was exceptional but we did experience some issues with the heating in our room. Although the hotel has a charming character, some aspects left a little to be desired.
My experience at the Half Moon Inn had its ups and downs. While the location is central and the staff made a great impression, the food quality was quite disappointing during my visit. Despite my fond memories of the place, the dining experience was below expectations, and the portion sizes were lacking. All in all, if you're looking for a clean and familiar place with decent service but don't prioritize a great meal, this could work for you.
My experience at this hotel left much to be desired. While the rooms had a nice decor, the bathroom was a letdown with serious cleanliness issues. The check-in process was welcoming, and they did provide a fantastic breakfast, but the issues with the facilities and overall cleanliness were significant drawbacks. I definitely wouldn't stay here again as there are too many negative aspects overshadowing the positives.
I chose this hotel for its central location and the bonus of free parking, both of which were spot on. My single room was surprisingly spacious and had a well-equipped en suite bathroom. However, I did experience some noise from the pub downstairs, which was expected but slightly disruptive. Overall, it was a decent stay, and I would consider returning if I'm in the area again.
